Coverage:

Our limited warranty offers coverage for cast iron and steel bathtubs refinished by Bathtub Refinishing Inc., providing protection for:

• 5 years in private residences
• 2 years for rental properties or other non-residential uses

This warranty specifically protects against peeling or adhesion failure of the refinishing materials under normal, non-commercial conditions.

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty will be voided under the following circumstances:

• Physical damage: Chips, nicks, or other damages caused by sharp or falling objects, misuse, or neglect.
• Chemical exposure: Stains or discoloration resulting from chemicals, bleaches, rust, hair dyes, or the use of abrasive cleaners.
• Structural issues: Movement or shifting in the substructure that causes cracks or splits in the refinished surface or grout lines.
• Neglect: Failure to maintain regular cleaning of the refinished surface, leading to degradation.
• Change in property use: If the property’s use is altered from private residence to commercial or rental without notifying Bathtub Refinishing Inc.

Warranty Resolution:

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Bathtub Refinishing Inc. will, at its sole discretion:

1. Repair the affected area,

2. Refinish the entire fixture, or

3. Refund the original cost of the job.

Note: This warranty does not extend to caulking, plumbing, or shower doors. Travel charges may apply for properties located outside our service area.

Prompt Notification: Any issues must be reported to Bathtub Refinishing Inc. within 72 hours of their occurrence to keep the warranty intact.

Cleaning Instructions:

To ensure the longevity of your refinished surface, only use cleaners that are free from abrasives, bleach, or chlorine. These substances can damage the refinishing materials and void the warranty.

Color:

Our standard refinishing color is off-white. Custom color requests can be accommodated upon special request and may affect pricing or service timelines.

Plumbing Disclaimer:

Our technicians are not licensed plumbers. While they may assist in removing or replacing pipes, handles, spouts, drain pieces, or overflow covers as a courtesy, you assume full responsibility for any resulting damage. In cases where plumbing components are degraded or too old, we advise you to notify us before service so that we can take appropriate precautions.

Cure Time:

After completion of the refinishing process, the surface requires a 24-hour cure time. During this period:

• Do not use the fixture.
• Ensure the refinished area remains dry.

This curing period is critical to ensure the durability and effectiveness of the refinishing process.
