Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

At Bathtub Refinishing Inc., we hold the intellectual property rights of others in high regard, just as we expect our rights to be respected. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their representatives can forward a takedown request to us via our designated DMCA Agent. Counter Notice – Requesting Reinstatement of Content

If you’ve received notification that your content was removed due to a copyright infringement claim, you can submit a counter-notification for reconsideration. Written counter-notices to our DMCA Agent must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;

  2. A description of the removed material and its original location on our site;

  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was erroneously removed due to a mistake or misidentification;

  4. Your contact details, and a consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your area, or any jurisdiction in which the service provider may be found if you’re outside the U.S. You must also agree to accept service of process from the party who filed the original infringement notice.

Policy on Repeat Infringement

We take allegations of copyright infringement with utmost seriousness. In line with the DMCA’s repeat infringer policy, we maintain records of DMCA notices and strive to identify repeat infringers. Those found to repeatedly violate our policies may face account termination.
